Camano Island!

After church today, we ventured out to Camano Island State Park. We had a picnic lunch and then walked down to the beach to explore!

We collected shells…

And found many interesting things on the shore: perfectly cut fish tail, blobs that looked like jellyfish, and lots of crab shells…

Laci scraped her ankle on the barnacle-covered rocks; this was quite upsetting for her because she was expecting the beach to have sand, not rocks.

After our adventure there, we drove through Cama Beach State Park, and then we drove by my first house (I lived on Camano Island when I was a baby).
We’re looking forward to sorting the seashells later this week and making something crafty with them 🙂20120708-224950.jpg
